it has occured to me that male serial killers tend to prey on young kids, same sex or the opposite sex whereas female serial killers tend to prey on old people or young boys. is there a sort of relation to the gender? like females are more nurturing so they prey on people they nurture? and are there more closet homosexuals among men than we imagine it to be? male serial killers really seem to like killing (often times, sexually assulting their victims before killing them) young male persons.

i know this is quite random and very out of point, but i've been wikipedia-ing serial killers and there is a LONG list on wiki. it's makes for quite interesting read, esp when you're doing some mundane thing such as updating certificates and clearing backlog. that, and also that i'm very fascinated with all these blood and gore sort of events/stories. i know i'm very morbid and a bit sadistic. ahahhaha! :)
